Privacy Policy
Effective 7 November 2026.
ScoreX collects no data about you. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing you enter leaves your iPhone unless you send it somewhere yourself.
This policy covers the ScoreX app and this website. Saketh Reddy Arrabolu makes ScoreX and is responsible for this policy.
What ScoreX stores on your iPhone
ScoreX stores these things on your iPhone, and only there:
- The players you add: a name and an emoji.
- Your games: who played, the rules and the score for each round.
- Rules you save, such as “Family Rummy”.
- Your settings: the colour you picked, Dark, Light or System appearance, whether haptics are on, and the rules of your last game.
Player stats are worked out from your games on your iPhone. They are not stored or sent anywhere else. Whether you’ve bought Pro comes from Apple, as below.
ScoreX doesn’t connect to the internet. The developer has no server and can’t see, read or recover any of it.
Backups
When you tap Export in Settings, ScoreX makes a backup file and you choose where to save it, for example on your iPhone or in iCloud Drive. That file is yours. ScoreX only reads a backup when you tap Import and pick it.
Your iPhone’s own iCloud or computer backup can include ScoreX’s data. Apple’s privacy policy covers those backups.
What Apple handles
Apple handles downloading ScoreX and buying ScoreX Pro under Apple’s privacy policy. The developer never sees your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple only reports sales totals that don’t say who bought.
To unlock Pro, ScoreX asks Apple’s App Store, on your iPhone, whether your Apple Account has bought it. That check happens between your iPhone and Apple, and nothing about it is sent to the developer.
If you turned on Share with App Developers in your iPhone’s Settings, Apple may send the developer crash reports and usage statistics for ScoreX. These don’t identify you, and the developer uses them only to fix problems. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
If you email us
When you email support@redception.com, the developer receives your email address and what you wrote. They’re used only to reply to you, never shared or sold, and deleted when they’re no longer needed. Ask and they’re deleted sooner.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. If you pick a colour or an appearance on the home page, your browser remembers it in its local storage on your device; it’s never sent to us. The company that hosts the website may briefly keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.
Deleting your data
Tap Delete All Data in Settings, or delete the app. Either removes everything ScoreX stored. Backups you exported stay where you saved them until you delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct or delete personal data held about you. The developer holds none from the app. To see or delete a support email you sent, write to support@redception.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
ScoreX collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date.
