Common questions
How do I move my games to a new iPhone?
On your old iPhone, open Settings in ScoreX and tap Export. Save the backup to Files, for example to iCloud Drive. On the new iPhone, open Settings in ScoreX, tap Import and pick the backup. Your players, games and saved rules come back.
Is my data backed up automatically?
No. ScoreX keeps everything on your iPhone and doesn’t sync to any server. Your iPhone’s own iCloud or computer backup includes it. For a copy you can move by hand, use Export in Settings.
How do I change what a card is worth?
When you start a new game, open the game’s rules. Under Card Values, change any rank. You can also add Jokers and special cards, like the queen of spades in Hearts. Tap Save as Custom Game to find these rules under Saved next time.
How do teams work?
In the rules, set Teams to Pairs or Teams of 3. Partners sit opposite each other and score together.
I entered a round wrong. Can I fix it?
Yes, while the game is in progress. Tap the round to edit it, or touch and hold it and tap Delete Round. Totals update straight away.
How do I change the app’s colour and icon?
Open Settings in ScoreX and pick a colour. The home screen icon changes to match. Four colours are free, and ScoreX Pro adds 8 more.
What does ScoreX Pro cost?
It’s a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The App Store shows the current price in your currency before you buy. Pro adds more colours, Light and System appearance, every player emoji, unlimited players and rounds, and player stats.
How do I get Pro on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Settings in ScoreX and tap Restore Purchases. You won’t be charged again.
Can I get a refund for Pro?
Purchases are final and the developer can’t issue refunds, because Apple takes every payment. Apple decides refund requests itself; you can ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete everything?
Open Settings in ScoreX and tap Delete All Data. This can’t be undone, so export a backup first if you might want your games back. Deleting the app also deletes its data.
